About the MHS in Clinical Investigation Program
The program involves one year of full-time academic classroom work, and is a non-research requiring degree which is awarded only to GTPCI students who specifically apply for this non-research track and fulfill the following requirements: 70 credit hours of course work, MHS capstone experience, and written comprehensive examination.
The MHS is designed for those who have an advanced medical degree (sub-specialty physicians) and other postdoctoral medical scientists who are pursuing a career in clinical investigation.

Prerequisites for the MHS Degree
- Satisfactory completion of 70 credit hours of course work
- Completion of a Comprehensive Exam at the end of the didactic year

Prior Graduate Degree
Advanced medical degree: e.g., MD, MBBS, PhD
Prior Work Experience
Work with human subjects in clinical investigation
Standardized Test Scores
Standardized test scores are required for this program. This program accepts the following standardized test scores: USMLE and GRE or MCAT. Applications will be reviewed holistically based on all application components.
