About the ScM in Biostatistics Program
This ScM program is intended for individuals who have demonstrated excellence at the undergraduate level in quantitative or biological sciences and desire a career as a professional statistician. Many ScM graduates go on to PhD programs in statistics or biostatistics, and/or assume positions in academic medical institutions, industry, or government, taking lead roles in the design and analysis of scientific research projects.

Standardized Test Scores
Standardized test scores are not required and not reviewed for this program. If you have taken a standardized test such as the GRE, GMAT, or MCAT and want to submit your scores, please note that they will not be used as a metric during the application review. Applications will be reviewed holistically based on all required application components.
Tuition and Funding
The Master’s Tuition Scholarship is available to students in good academic standing in a two-year, full-time master’s program. The MTS is a 75% reduction in tuition for year two of an eight-term program. Students have the option of distributing the scholarship entirely in their second year of study or receive a 25% reduction in tuition their first year and 50% in their second year.
