Mixed Methods for Research in Public Health Summer Institute

The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health also offers a Summer Institute Program that focuses on methodological and substantive topics in public mental health. This institute includes a course on Mixed Methods for Research in Public Health held every June. The course is interactive and students are encouraged to bring a project to discuss in the class.  Students bring projects in a wide variety of topics in public health and health services research.  In 2018 the course became available on line with remote 'live talk' interactive sessions.

Mixed Methods International Research Association

The MMIRA engages with the international community to support mixed methods research.  The MMIRA holds a global conference on mixed methods annually, and the MMIRA web site lists workshops and training available around the world on the MMIRA home page.

Seminar in Mixed Methods Research

For students at Johns Hopkins University, a seminar in mixed methods will be held in the 2nd term.  Class sessions include student and faculty presentations as well as discussions of recent articles in the literature (330.805).
