SOURCE partners with more than 100 Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) in Baltimore City. CBOs provide meaningful community engagement activities for our students, faculty and staff, including one-time service projects, long-term projects, scholarly projects, internships, FWS positions, short-term consultant projects and more.

901 Arts
Better Waverly’s 901 Arts is a volunteer-driven program which serves local youth within a roughly 10 X 10-block neighborhood catchment zone (approximately 1000 homes). 80 total youth participants range in age from 6-17 years old.
Alzheimer's Association
Eliminate Alzheimer's disease through support of research. Enhancing care and support for individuals, their families, and caregivers
Amazing Grace Lutheran Church
The Amazing Port Street Project- Project is located behind the church. Originally an area of abandoned and dilapidated houses, it now boasts a perennial garden, a labyrinth and several murals to be a sacred space in the city. The Center for Grace-Full Living- Formally the parish house of the church.
American Heart Association
To build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke; focus on advocacy, fundraising for research, and raising awareness around cardiovascular events (heart disease remains the #1 cause of death in the U.S.)
American Red Cross
Prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
Art With A Heart, Inc.
Art with a Heart is a private, non-profit organization that helps people in need enhance their lives through visual arts. By participating in interactive, hands-on art activities, program recipients at group housing facilities, shelters, schools and community centers are able to better understand their world, express themselves, and experience meaningful moments of possibility. Art with a Heart provides the inspiration and motivation that leads to creativity, self-satisfaction, personal growth and success.
Asylee Women Enterprise
To support forced migrants as they begin to heal from past and contemporary traumas and rebuild their lives in Maryland.
B'More for Healthy Babies
BHB strives for all Baltimore babies to be born at a healthy weight, full term, and ready to thrive in healthy families. Its mission is to reduce infant mortality and child deaths through education, advocacy, policy development and research in order to effect systemic change. The work of the initiative includes community mobilization, working with service providers, supporting substance abuse counseling centers, smoking cessation programs, community-based education, provider education, contraception distribution and education, family planning and maternal/early child home outreach, and policy and systems components.
Baltimore American Indian Center
The Baltimore American Indian Center’s mission is to support Native Americans and Alaskan Natives in the Baltimore region by serving as a community focal point, providing opportunities to practice and maintain invaluable Native American culture while tenaciously protecting it against extinction, educating natives and non-natives in American Indian cultural practices, as well as serving as an indispensable conduit for individuals and organizations seeking to establish dialog and offer support to the Native American community.

Baltimore CONNECT
The mission of Baltimore CONNECT is to create and strengthen a collaborative network of community, faith-based and neighborhood organizations that advocate for the needs of people in Baltimore, and CONNECT them to comprehensive and coordinated health and human services. Baltimore CONNECT envisions a future in which health care entities, social service organizations and people in the community work together seamlessly to achieve optimum health and well-being for all.
Baltimore Crisis Response, Inc.
Provide timely and effective behavioral health and crisis intervention services to individuals in the least restrictive environment. The only crisis response program in Baltimore City, Baltimore Crisis Response Inc., offers a 24/7 hotline, mobile crisis services, residential crisis stabilization, medical residential detox targeted case management and critical incident de-briefing services.
Baltimore Curriculum Project
The Baltimore Curriculum Project (BCP) has its origins at the Calvert School, which had been tasked with taking their method of direct teaching and adapting it for use in some of the public schools in Baltimore. BCP has been partnering with Baltimore City Schools for the past 15 years. Their mission is to develop, implement, and advocate for an innovative, sustainable, and replicable education model that improves student outcomes.
Baltimore Food Policy Initiative
The mission of the Baltimore Food Policy Initiative is to use food as a catalyst to address health, economic and environmental disparities in Healthy Food Priority areas, areas where residents face compounded challenges in accessing healthy foods.
Baltimore Green Space
Baltimore Green Space is Baltimore’s environmental land trust. We promote vibrant neighborhoods and a healthy environment through land preservation, research, and community advocacy.
Baltimore Medical System
We are the largest federally qualified community health center in Maryland. We provide care for low income and uninsured persons in Baltimore City and County.
Baltimore Safe Haven
Provide opportunities for a higher quality of life for TLGBQ people in Baltimore City living in survival mode.
Baltimore SquashWise
Baltimore SquashWise is an afterschool program that combines squash instruction, academic tutoring, mentoring, and community service to empower local youth to excel academically, athletically and in life.
Baltimore Youth Opportunity Center (YO! Center)
Provides classes and training to support at-risk youths ages 16-21 to help them realize their potential to succeed in the following areas: academics (pre-GED and GED classes), college enrollment, job/career skills trainingProvides support to address substance abuse, health related issues, and crisis intervention.
Banner Neighborhoods Community Corporation
Banner Neighborhoods is a community based non-profit organization dedicated to supporting residents in their efforts to enhance the quality of life throughout 10 southeast Baltimore communities. We offer a wide variety of programs designed to strengthen the community, ranging from youth activities, to senior home maintenance, to beautification projects.
Bea Gaddy's Family Centers
Provides housing for homeless women and children and offers self-development and job training. Distributes food and blankets to homeless on a daily basis. Offers tutoring programs in English, Computers, and Math.
Blue Water Baltimore
Blue Water Baltimore works to protect and restore the health and beauty of the Jones Falls Watershed through restoration, monitoring, advocacy and citizen awareness.
CASA de Maryland
To work with Latino and other low-income immigrant communities to improve the quality of life and fight for equal treatment and full access to resources and opportunities; to advocate for social, political and economic justice for all low-income communities. CASA de Maryland also sponsors the Mi Espacio Program, an after school youth leadership program.
Charm City Care Connection
Charm City Care Connection (CCCC) is a harm reduction program located in East Baltimore. We serve as a low barrier entry point into the healthcare and social services system for people who use drugs. We do this by providing a drop-in center, harm reduction services, street outreach, and wraparound case management

Child First Authority
In 1996 Child First Authority (CFA) was established by BUILD, Baltimoreans United in Leadership Development, following a citywide listening campaign. The campaign called for safe, productive learning environments for children in the out of school time hours. Child First is currently the community school non-profit partner and out of school time provider at eight community schools and the out of school time provider at three additional schools.
City Springs Elementary / Middle
City Springs Elementary/Middle School is a neighborhood charter school operated by the Baltimore Curriculum Project (BCP). We are a conversion charter school, which means we were an already existing Baltimore City Public School that was taken over by an outside operator to bring innovative and research-based curriculum and other programs to enhance the school.
CityWeeds
CityWeeds is a trauma-informed food business that strives to eliminate food deserts and improve the health, wellness, and independence of Baltimore City residents through the growing and selling of microgreens and cold-pressed juices. CityWeeds was founded by Dominic “Farmer” Nell in 2016 after the tragic murder of Freddie Gray and the Baltimore Uprising. These events encouraged Farmer Nell to reflect on the distress faced by city residents and the healing needed in his West Baltimore neighborhood. Farmer Nell’s vision for CityWeeds is to feed and heal the community by growing food out of vacant lots.
Civic Works
Civic Works strengthens Baltimore’s communities through education, skills development, and community service. Our key program areas include community improvement, workforce development, education, and green programs.
Clay Pots
Clay Pots..."A Place to Grow" is a safe space for people in the neighborhoods of Southwest Baltimore and beyond to explore their inner selves in a holistic manner. Clay Pots provides a range of education, wellness and creative programs that help to enrich the personal and communal health of the neighborhood. Through programs and a free coffee house, Clay Pots has created space for mutual sharing: a place for everyone to have a chance to heal, develop and grow.
Community Law Center
Community Law Center, a nonprofit law firm, provides legal services to community and nonprofit organizations throughout Maryland to promote stronger nonprofits and more vibrant neighborhoods. Community Law Center is Maryland's only legal services organization dedicated solely to strengthening neighborhoods and the nonprofit sector.
Cornerstone Community Housing
Cornerstone Community Housing has a twofold mission. CCH is dedicated to helping men experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives and to changing attitudes toward homelessness through outreach and education.
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)
Serves as an advocate for abused and neglected children involved in the juvenile court system. Conducts independent reviews, makes recommendations to the court, and monitors court orders.
Dayspring Programs
Dayspring Programs, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded to change the lives of homeless children and their families. Dayspring grew out of the Coalition for Homeless Children and Families, a collaboration of 30 groups interested in the welfare of homeless children in Baltimore City.
Dee's Place Wellness and Recovery Center
Dee’s Place, located in East Baltimore, offers a full menu of early morning and afternoon 12-step mutual aid meetings, peer facilitated groups, as well as offering extensive one -on -one peer recovery support services.
Elev8 Baltimore
Elev8 Baltimore is a program of the East Baltimore Development Inc. (EBDI), an innovative public-private partnership established in 2002 to facilitate one of the most comprehensive, groundbreaking community redevelopment efforts in America. EBDI and its partners- including the City of Baltimore, the State of Maryland, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the Johns Hopkins Institutions, the Baltimore Community Foundation, the Goldseker Foundation, and others - are committed to transforming neighborhood life by expanding housing, economic, health and educational resources and opportunities available to children, youth, families and other residents.
EndsideOut Incorporated
EndsideOut Incorporated wants to see communities thrive through a foundation of healthy eating and physical fitness. Health equity is fundamental to a strong society; yet, so often we see health disparities based on poverty, geography, race, and other socio-economic factors. EndsideOut Incorporated aim to bridge these gaps through holistic, community-based interventions that prioritize sustainable nutrition and exercise. Together, we can work towards healthier, happier lifestyles.
Episcopal Refugee and Immigrant Center Alliance (ERICA)
To provide post-resettlement services to refugees and assist immigrants with their adjustment to life in the U.S.
Esperanza Center
Esperanza Center is a comprehensive immigrant resource provider that welcomes thousands of immigrants to the United States each year. Our mission is to welcome immigrants by offering hope, compassionate services, and the power to improve their lives. Every day the Esperanza Center strives to empower clients to overcome barriers that stand in the way of their full participation in the American experience.
Family Recovery Program
The Family Recovery Program’s mission is, “At FRP, we S.E.E. our families.” (Strengthen. Engage. Equip). We strengthen our families by providing them with safe and intensive services. We engage our families in a holistic array of services matched to meet the needs of their family. We equip our families with lifelong strategies assisting them in becoming self-reliant as they embark in a drug and alcohol free lifestyle. The vision of FRP is as follows: Investing in families to build thriving communities.
Franciscan Center, Inc.
Serves as a "one-stop shop" for families and individuals in crisis, providing a broad range of programs and services designed to help them achieve stability and build self-sufficient lives.
FreeState Justice
Many LGBTQ Marylanders continue to experience discrimination in all aspects of their lives. FreeState Justice is a social justice organization that works statewide to improve the lives of LGTBQ Marylanders and their families through legal services, policy advocacy, outreach, education and coalition building.
From Prison Cells to PhD
The goal of the Prison-to-Professionals (P2P) program is to help people with criminal convictions obtain higher education.
Gallagher Services
Gallagher Services provides residential and meaningful day support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization a Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL) accredited agency that utilizes a person-centered approach to deliver services that support people in living the life of their choice.
GEDCO (Govans Ecumenical Development Corporation)
In partnership with faith-based and community organizations, GEDCO provided affordable housing, supportive services, and emergency assistance to community residents.
Gilchrist Hospice Care
Helps by providing the emotional support and end-of-life expertise needed to keep loved ones at home and out of the hospital; also provides ongoing counseling, spiritual support and other assistance critical to ensuring that your loved one’s remaining time is comfortable, meaningful, and pain-free.
Good Harvest
Good Harvest, a social enterprise of St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore, produces about 7,500 healthy and delicious meals a day for low income children, families and seniors each day. Good Harvest has long-term partnerships with Head Start programs, summer and after-school programs, homeless shelters, adult day care programs and child care centers, which serve our meals to their customers.
Greater Baybrook Alliance
Our mission is to act as a catalyst and conduit for equitable development and reinvestment in the Brooklyn, Brooklyn Park, and Curtis Bay neighborhoods and empower our residents to strengthen the Baybrook community. In 2016, stakeholders from the Brooklyn, Brooklyn Park, and Curtis Bay neighborhoods convened to create the Greater Baybrook Vision and Action Plan, a long-term revitalization roadmap addressing housing, economic development, transportation, quality of life, and other opportunities in our communities.
Green & Healthy Homes Initiative
The Green & Healthy Homes Initiative (GHHI) is a national 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that creates, implements and promotes programs and policies to eradicate childhood lead poisoning, reduce asthma episodes and increase the stock of healthy, safe and energy efficient homes. The Baltimore location includes the national and GHHI Baltimore offices. GHHI Baltimore provides physical repairs to homes, resident education, legal assistance and community outreach.
Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake
Habitat for Humanity rehabilitates and builds houses in partnership with the homeowners using mostly volunteer labor and private funding, selling the completed homes at cost to low-income families.
Health Care Access Maryland
HealthCare Access Maryland (formerly Baltimore HealthCare Access) is a nonprofit agency that plays a critical role in strenghtening Maryland's health care delivery system. Working with both government and private-sector support, HealthCare Access Maryland helps residents enroll in public health care coverage and navigte the complex helath care system.
Health Care for the Homeless
Health Care for the Homeless (HCH), Inc. provides health-related services, education, and advocacy to reduce the incidence and burdens of homelessness. Health Care for the Homeless provides medical, mental health, social work, substance abuse, outreach and educational programs at its main clinic in Baltimore City, and through programs in Baltimore, Harford, Frederick, and Montgomery counties. With your help, HCH goes out on the streets to get people off the streets - and back into the mainstream.
HeartSmiles
HeartSmiles' mission is to equip students with advanced skills in leadership, professional development, and personal development while placing them at an intersection of access and opportunity that allows them to achieve their version of success.
Helping Up Mission
Helping Up Mission provides hope to men and women experiencing homelessness, poverty, addiction, and mental illness. We do this through programs designed to meet their individual physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs. Helping Up Mission is a non-denominational 501(c)(3) faith-based organization, providing compassionate care to all in need, without consideration of race, sex, economic or religious status.
Henderson-Hopkins School
Henderson-Hopkins is looking for volunteers every Friday to support the Henderson-Hopkins’ Food Distribution program for a one-time or an on-going volunteer opportunity.
Historic East Baltimore Community Action Coalition (HEBCAC)
Non-profit partnership based in the community, established to enhance the quality of life for all who live, work, and visit historic East Baltimore. Serves as an umbrella organization for several East Baltimore groups.
Hopkins Community Connection
Hopkins Community Connection works to screen patients for essential resource needs during their routine medical appointments and uses student volunteers and Community Health Workers to navigate them to community resources and in doing so they become trained as future leaders poised to enhance the effectiveness of the health system by routinely addressing these needs as a standard part of quality care.
House of Ruth Maryland
To eliminate domestic violence through intervention and prevention, by providing: shelter, counseling for adults, teens, and children, legal advocacy, abusers intervention, professional training, and community outreach.
Institutes for Behavior Resources, Inc./REACH Program
To address the needs of the total person by individualizing services, utilizing best practice treatment modalities, and integrating ancillary services and programs from within the community.
International Rescue Committee
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Baltimore helps refugees and other humanitarian immigrants become self sufficient and integrated in communities across central Maryland and strengthens the social and economic health of Baltimore City.
Intersection of Change
Intersection of Change is a community based nonprofit in Baltimore, MD founded in 1996 to serve Baltimore’s Sandtown-Winchester and Upton communities. These and the surrounding communities have struggled for many years with major issues related to poverty and Newborn has responded with a mission to preserve and enrich life in these communities by providing services that enable residents to meet their material, social, and spiritual needs.
Julie Community Center
The Julie Community Center is a multi-purpose, non-profit community organization involved in advocacy, education, and organizing, with special dedication to the poor. Provides after school program, youth enrichment and summer camp program from children ages 6-12. Provides leadership workshops and public health projects for teens.
Lil Laughs
The mission of Lil Laughs is to help students combat self-esteem issues and build confidence through anti-bullying campaign fueled by comedy.

Lori's Hands
Lori's Hands builds mutually beneficial partnerships between community members with chronic illness and college students, fostering empathy, connection, and resilience. Students provide practical assistance to support community members' independence at home, and community members share their health and life experiences to support students' learning.
Maryland Citizens' Health Initiative/Health Care for All
Maryland Health Care for All is a broad-based coalition of 1,100 faith, labor, business and community groups that have been working to guarantee all Marylanders access to quality, affordable health care.
Maryland Food Bank
The Food Bank provides nearly 50 million pounds of food annually to more than 1,250 nonprofit community food providers - including food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, low-income day care centers, after-school programs, senior centers, rehabilitation centers, and other feeding programs.
Maryland New Directions
Maryland New Directions’ mission is to provide comprehensive career counseling, employment assistance, and post-employment support to people who are in life and career transitions. Clients often face multiple barriers to job success, such as little or no work experience, low levels of education, computer illiteracy, substance abuse history, criminal backgrounds, and/or mental health barriers.
MERIT Health Leadership Academy
The Medical Education Resources Initiative for Teens (MERIT) aims to eliminate health care disparities by transforming under-represented high school students into health care leaders.
Mi Espacio
"Mi Espacio" is an afterschool youth leadership development program sponsored by CASA de Maryland. The primary goal of the program is to provide a supportive environment where Latino high school students can gain the confidence, skills and knowledge they need to graduate from high school and achieve their post-secondary dreams.

MissionFit, provides a safe space, resources for health and an environment for continued personal growth.
Moveable Feast
Moveable Feast serves over 900 individuals who are affected by HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses.
National Alliance on Mental Illness Metropolitan Baltimore
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building betters lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
New Song Community Learning Center
New Song Community Learning Center is making a long-term investment in the lives of neighborhood youth and their families to ensure indigenous leadership for the ongoing transformation of Sandtown. New Song Academy is committed to developing and empowering leaders from the Sandtown-Winchester community by providing year-round educational opportunities for children, youth and their families.

Next One Up's mission is to transform the lives of young men in Baltimore City by supporting and advancing their academic, athletic, and social development.

Crime prevention, mentoring program working with churches and community.
Our Daily Bread
In 2007, Catholic Charities opened the Our Daily Bread Employment Center (ODBEC), which seeks to improve the lives of people in need by providing resources to help them achieve self-sufficiency through employment and housing. The facility includes a soup kitchen/ dining room that serves an average of 700 meals seven days a week, 365 days each year, to people in Baltimore who are hungry. Guests include men, women, and children of all ages.
Parks & People Foundation
Parks & People wants Baltimore to be One Park — a vibrant network of green spaces, including parks, gardens, playing fields, landscaped boulevards, and more that connect people with the natural environment and each other every day.
Paul's Place
The mission of Paul's Place is to help be a catalyst and leader for change, improving the quality of life in the Southwest Baltimore communities of Pigtown, Poppleton, Southwest Baltimore, Morrell Park, and Westport.
Planned Parenthood of Maryland
Dealing with the following in the area of reproductive health: Reproductive health care services, Family planning, Education, Research.
Power Inside
A direct service and advocacy program for women impacted by incarceration, addiction and commercial sex work. Health outreach, case management, workshops and peer support groups.
PRIDE Center of Maryland
To provide a safe and supportive place for youth and young adults who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender.
Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland
Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland (PBRC) is Maryland’s hub for pro bono (free) civil legal assistance provided by volunteers. Equal access to justice is a core value of our nation, yet hundreds of thousands of our state’s residents cannot afford the legal help they desperately need and have no legal guarantee of a lawyer. As the pro bono arm of the Maryland State Bar Association, PBRC plays a unique role as the training, support, innovation, and advocacy center for pro bono.
Project PLASE (People Lacking Ample Shelter & Employment)
Project PLASE, Inc. addresses homelessness by providing transitional housing, permanent housing and supportive services to homeless adults. They serve the most vulnerable and underserved, including persons with mental illness, HIV/AIDS, addiction, developmental disabilities, and ex-offenders, etc. They treat, restore and rehabilitate the whole person. The organization empowers each individual to function at the highest level possible.
Public Justice Center
The Public Justice Center is a nonprofit legal organization that works to eliminate the causes of poverty and discrimination. We have a prisoner rights project that monitors health and medical conditions at BCDC and conducts advocacy for sick inmates.
Reading Partners
Reading Partners mobilizes communities to provide students with the proven, individualized reading support they need to read at grade level by fourth grade.
Roberta’s House
To provide a safe place and resource in the community to promote recovery and healing from the loss of a loved one; addressing grief as a public health preventive resource
Shepherd's Clinic
The Shepherd's Clinic provides quality, low-cost primary health care to those who are medically uninsured, helping people who are unable to afford commercial health insurance and who do not qualify for government assistance in Central Baltimore. The Clinic relies on the generosity and dedication of hundreds of volunteer doctors, nurses, professionals, retirees, students and others to make these services possible.
Sisters Together And Reaching (STAR)
A Christian-based non-profit organization dedicated to providing spiritual support, direct services, and preventive education to women infected with HIV/AIDS through a holistic women's community center and mobile van unit. The program has a focus on women, but does serve the entire population (including men and the GLBTQ community).
Soccer Without Borders
Soccer Without Borders Baltimore City began in the fall of 2009 in response to various state, local, and non-profit agencies that serve the city’s burgeoning refugee population identifying a need for positive recreational programming for area refugee youth. In response, SWB Baltimore emerged to provide opportunities in the form of soccer, simultaneously encouraging healthy living while developing English-language abilities, teamwork, academic success, and cross-cultural skills.
Southeast Community Development Corporation
The Southeast CDC is dedicated to growing and supporting a thriving, socioeconomically and racially diverse Southeast Baltimore where residents share in the success and improvement of their communities.
SPARC Women's Center
SPARC is Sex workers Promoting Action, Risk reduction, and Community mobilization! We are a drop-in center and mobile outreach team seeking to support people whose gender identities include woman, agender, gender-nonbinary, and all other non-men identities, who engage in street-based, survival activities including trading sex, selling or using drugs, and sleeping rough.
Tench Tilghman Elementary/Middle School
The School's mission is to provide a comprehensive and coordinated educational program for children in grades pre-K through 8th. The School is a Baltimore City Public School.
The 6th Branch
The 6th Branch utilizes the leadership and organizational skills of military veterans to execute aggressive community service initiatives in Baltimore City. We focus on the transformation of vacant lots into community green spaces and support to community schools in four Baltimore City neighborhoods.
The Commodore John Rodgers Elementary/Middle School
Commodore John Rodgers Elementary/Middle is a recent Baltimore success story. In 2010, we were labeled a "Turnaround" School due to poor academic performance and safety concerns. In fact, the Baltimore Sun ranked the school 872 out of 875 total schools in Maryland. However, in only five years, after being projected to have 210 students enrolled in 2010, we now have 702 students enrolled, and we are growing by the day! We believe that this is a stamp of approval from families that we are on the right track toward turning Commodore around.

The Door works with children and teens in education, drug prevention, cultural awareness, sex education, delinquency, and self-esteem. It also supports parenting groups and counseling sessions to strengthen family relationships.

The Light of Truth Center
Dedicated to providing safe and supportive housing in an environment conducive to recovery, transition, and restoration for women recovering from addictions; facilitates education, empowerment, enlightenment, and healing for the women it serves.
The Men and Families Center
Provides services to men: parenting and life skills, rites of passage, health education and job placement assistance (formerly The Men's Center).
Thread
Thread understands that children growing up in concentrated poverty need more than just improved financial resources or better classrooms; they need the same unassailable support and deep interpersonal bonds that we all need. Thread builds these bonds for students, volunteers and collaborators.
Total Health Care
Total Health Care has provided medical care to the low-income residents of Baltimore for more than 50 years. With its 8 locations, the organization is now the largest non-governmental provider of comprehensive primary care, mental health and substance used and dental services in Baltimore City, serving the areas health underserved, uninsured, underinsured, and special populations.
TurnAround
TurnAround provides training to volunteer to expand their ability to survivors of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and human trafficking. Volunteers are also utilized for court accompaniment in cases involving intimate partner and sexual violence. Individuals interested can go to TurnAround, Inc. for an application and directions.
Weinberg Housing and Resource Center
Catholic Charities shares Baltimore City's vision of making homelessness in Baltimore rare and brief through the Weinberg Housing and Resource Center (WHRC). This low-barrier shelter houses 275 residents, providing each resident with case management, workshops and resource referrals, breakfast and dinner (lunch is served at Our Daily Bread, across the street), and a caring staff committed to the Catholic Charities mission of "Love in Action."
Wolfe St. Academy
Wolfe Street Academy is a public charter school offering pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. It is operated by the Baltimore Curriculum Project, a local nonprofit organization. The school works in cooperation with the entire community to offer rigorous instruction, efficient management practices, and a culture of excellence.
