Amazing Grace Lutheran Church is a multicultural, come as you are, congregation operating in the McElderry Park neighborhood of East Baltimore. We seek to be a safe gathering place for neighbors who need support with food insecurity, health, wellness & healing.
Social ministries through the Center for Grace-Full Living include:
- A food ministry that operates a soup kitchen, food & supply pantry, cooking classes & provides fresh produce
- The Revolution Within which shares free health, wellness & healing education, services & supports
- Stewardship of the Amazing Port Street Commons located behind the church, which include a prayer labyrinth, community art, garden beds for pollinators, herbs, fruit & vegetables and a gathering space for community events.
There are numerous volunteer opportunities to support any of the social ministries, our worship community and more! You can learn more about current needs on our website but we also welcome creative ways for you and your peers to share your time, talents & experience.
