About the Organization
Esperanza Center is a comprehensive immigrant resource provider that welcomes thousands of immigrants to the United States each year. Our mission is to welcome immigrants by offering hope, compassionate services, and the power to improve their lives. Every day the Esperanza Center strives to empower clients to overcome barriers that stand in the way of their full participation in the American experience. We actively seek to live out our mission through services offered in the areas of:

Involvement Opportunities
Volunteer Application: Esperanza Volunteer Application
Client Services
- Welcome clients and guide them in accessing services within Esperanza
- Assist with school registration, access to medical care, social services, legal aid, housing, utility and other bills. Provide verbal translations, assist with making appointments.
- Spanish language proficiency required
Educational Services
- Teach English as a Second Language to Adults (ESOL Classes)
- Assist with After School/Summer Youth Program
- Flexible Schedules for volunteers and students – Day and Evening times available
- No language requirements or teaching experience necessary. Training provided
Health Services
- Assist clinic staff with patient triage, care, and telephone follow-up
- Medical and Nursing Degree students
- Spanish Fluency required
- Weekly 3 hour block of time commitment requested
Immigration Legal Services
- Assist with verbal and written translations as interpreter
- Must be bilingual with legal experience
- Remote work opportunities. Long term commitment requested
