Joshua Sharfstein has been promoted to Vice Dean for Public Health Practice and Community Engagement and Katherine Parris Frey will assume a part-time position as Assistant Dean for Strategic Initiatives.
As deans of schools of public health, we are announcing today that, after considering numerous factors and scientific best practices, our schools are not accepting funding from or pursuing work with this Foundation.
Congratulations to David Holtgrave, chair of Health, Behavior and Society, who will assume the deanship at the School of Public Health at the University at Albany, State University of New York in March, 2018.
