Course Overview
This service-learning course examines a participatory, online service-learning approach to enable students regardless of geographical location to engage in community-based educational projects, and prepares students to develop evaluation plans and materials for the organizations’ identified programs. Students will work in a small group to develop an evaluation tool along with an implementation and data analysis guide for future use.
The Partner CBO is expected to:
- Identify a new or existing program or intervention that requires an evaluation tool to be developed
- Periodically meet with students
- Review drafts of students' work and share feedback on final deliverables
