STEM Designated Programs
Only the degree programs listed below are STEM designated. All other degree programs, including the Schoolwide DrPH, are NOT STEM designated.
The STEM OPT extension is a 24-month period of temporary training that directly relates to an F-1 student's program of study in an approved STEM field. Eligible students can receive an additional 24 months of work authorization, beyond the initial 12 months of post-completion OPT, for employment that directly relates to their program of study in an approved STEM field. All STEM designated programs are STEM OPT extension eligible in the full-time, on campus format.
