With COVID-19 now spreading via community transmission in the U.S. and the World Health Organization raising its risk assessment to “very high,” the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health presents a 30-minute webcast featuring some of the best minds addressing this global health concern.
Panelists include Dr. Jennifer Nuzzo and Dr. Tara Kirk Sell of the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security and Lauren Sauer of the Johns Hopkins Office of Critical Event Preparedness and Response. The conversation is moderated by Dr. Joshua Sharfstein, Vice Dean of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and former secretary of Maryland’s Department of Health.
The experts discuss the findings of the Global Health Security Index referenced by President Trump, what you need to know about community transmission and how to protect yourself from misinformation. They also answer viewer questions submitted before and during the broadcast.
