About IVAC

Vaccines help create a world where people and communities are free from the health, economic, and social consequences of preventable disease.

To help realize this promise for billions around the world, IVAC builds knowledge and support for the value of vaccines. Since 2003 (learn about our story), we have served as a trusted partner for governments, international agencies, research groups, and non-profit organizations seeking to advance access to life-saving immunizations for all people. Located in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, within the Department of International Health, we are a team with diverse skills and research experiences (meet our people).

Evidence - Policy - Access

  • We generate, synthesize, and interpret evidence that supports informed vaccine policy decisions.
  • We provide technical assistance for policy-making that increases vaccine equity and coverage, bolsters new introduction decisions and processes, optimizes vaccine use, and advances sustainable vaccine financing.
  • We strengthen efforts to enable equitable access to vaccines, amplify political will, and measure impact to ensure program accountability and sustainability.
