Overview
Dr. Hiroshi Azuma is a Research Associate at the Department of International Health. He trained as a psychiatrist in Tokyo before coming to Johns Hopkins University to pursue his public health studies.
His current projects include (1) the development of implementation guidance for World Health Organization guidelines on self-care interventions for sexual and reproductive health and rights, (2) a systematic literature review of the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on HIV services in low- and middle-income countries, and (3) qualitative study on social justice discourse within a school of public health in the US.
