Experiences & Accomplishments
My training is in medicine, experimental pathology, and immunology. My research activities center on the cellular immunology and pathogenesis of infection with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), and I also direct the flow cytometry core laboratory for the School of Hygiene and Public Health. Some specific research interests are:
Regulation of T Cell turnover and homeostasis in HIV infection. Effects of illicit drugs on immune function. Early events in HIV infection
