Frank Xu, PhD is a health economist and Assistant Scientist in the Department of Health Policy and Management at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His current work focuses on health outcomes in traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage, hospital pricing across carriers and market segments, and preferred pharmacy networks in Medicare Part D.
He received his PhD in Public Policy and Management, with a concentration in Health Economics, and Master of Public Policy from University of Southern California. He earned his bachelor’s degrees in both International Political Economy and Economics from Peking University.
