Experiences & Accomplishments
Dr. Elizabeth Stierman is a public health scientist with expertise in program evaluation, implementation research, and quality improvement. Her research focuses on developing and evaluating approaches to improve the quality of maternal and child health services; to address social and structural determinants of health; and to advance equity in maternal and child health. Dr. Stierman brings to her research over a decade of practice-based experience as a program manager and technical advisor. She has collaborated with communities and health departments to design, implement, and evaluate health programs in a variety of domestic and international settings. She is currently co-investigator on the Maryland Maternal Health Innovation Program (MDMOM).
