Overview
I am a public health researcher with a strong foundation in program and financial management. My research interests are based on prior experiences with the Peace Corps and USAID, which instilled an interest in health equity, community-based participatory research (CBPR), and systemic change. My academic experience at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health strengthened my skills in qualitative research, quantitative research, data management, and social and behavioral interventions.
I currently work as a research associate with the Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health (Great Lakes). I support various grants, including Together Overcoming Diabetes, an NIH-funded, randomized wait-list control trial rooted in CBPR practices, and a partnership with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. I also support research initiatives from the Office of Inclusion, Diversity, Anti-Racism, and Equity (IDARE).
