Overview
Ira Gooding serves as Assistant Director for Open and Inclusive Learning in the Center for Teaching and Learning at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland. Since 2012, Ira has collaborated with Bloomberg School faculty on the development of more than 90 MOOCs, including the marquee Data Science Specialization taught by faculty from the Department of Biostatistics and the COVID-19 Contact Tracing course taught by Emily Gurley. Since 2016, Ira has served as Provost’s Fellow for Digital Initiatives, contributing to the ongoing evolution of digital education at Johns Hopkins. Ira holds a Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park.
