Overview
Strategic-minded medical and business professional with a proven record of providing high-level programmatic and technical leadership at country, regional and global levels. Led several large, complex and successful projects in MNCH/FP/RH & NCDs and a leader in developing synergies with the private sector and innovation.
Demonstrable experience in health systems strengthening including sustainable financing, governance, service delivery and universal health coverage. Worked in different social marketing models (product and full-priced) and have an in-depth understanding of social franchising.
Managed large, regional portfolio of nearly $80 million per year, with several diverse projects and implementation research, mostly in LMICs, and has coached and mentored country directors, chiefs of party and senior level technical staff while liaising and collaborating with diverse stakeholders at country and regional levels. Effectively led the strategic design and problem solving of several successful projects including developing and implementing strategies for private sector partnerships with country directors, such as the accreditation of private providers in India, MNCH centers of private midwives in Pakistan, and mentoring of clinicians in private hospitals in Indonesia.
