Overview
As a faculty member in the Department of International Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Rose Weeks, MPH accelerates the translation of science to practice at the Bloomberg School’s International Vaccine Access Center, Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, and Center for Global Digital Health Innovation. Ms. Weeks conducts qualitative and implementation science research to inform communications and advocacy strategies for vaccine access and behavioral health projects. She received her bachelor’s degree from Vassar College and her MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she is an enrolled DrPH student in Implementation Science program.
She serves as Sr. Communications Advisor for the Center for Indigenous Health, providing strategic advice on public engagement and advocacy strategies to scale up evidence-based practices across Indigenous communities.
Rose also serves as the Project Director for the VIRA chatbot project and has led the team since inception from conceptualization to optimization of the VIRA chatbot, developing partnerships across the private sector with IBM, Vonage, and Meta, and in the public sector with governmental advocacy agencies, CDC, and health departments.
