Overview

Dr. Elizabeth Hazel is a global health, quantitative researcher with 15 years’ experience in reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health, community-based and primary care health services, large-scale health program impact evaluations, and conducting household and facility surveys. Her research interests include improving the measurements of health and understanding barriers to quality care. Improved measurement of health processes, outcomes and impacts allows program implementers access to stronger data for evidence-based policies and practices. And understanding barriers to care that impact marginalized communities will inform policies and programs that reduce health inequities.
