Emphasizes active participation in discussions of the peer-reviewed literature, the most up-to-date research, and the process of research development.
Learning Objectives
Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
- Critique peer-reviewed manuscripts
- Explain the peer review process
- Discuss and provide feedback on research ideas and projects
Methods of Assessment
This course is evaluated as follows:
- 50% Participation
- 50% Individual presentation OR self-assessment
To be held in departmental space. Method of Assessment varies by term. Student assessment is a self-assessment unless the student is required to present that term.
