Prerequisite
This course is required for MSPH and PhD students in the Social and Behavioral Interventions Concentration
Discusses intervention case studies examining formative research, implementation process, or monitoring and evaluation aspects. Practices negotiation & mediation skills to address organizational or community challenges. Provides relevant readings illustrating one or more of these aspects by the SBI faculty, advanced students or other guests who will be leading each of the sessions.
Learning Objectives
Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
- Gain an overview of current themes and approaches in social and behavioral interventions in global health
- Apply negotiation & mediation skills to address organizational or community challenges
- Follow up, on professional development leads
