Students are required to conduct a systematic review of the literature or a data-driven paper in partial fulfillment of the Master of Health Science (MHS) degree in the Department of Mental Health.
Provides basic research and organizational skills needed for the successful completion of the MHS project. Includes topics: conducting a systematic review or literature review for data-driven papers, selecting an appropriate research design, and interpreting findings.
Learning Objectives
Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
- Formulate and clearly communicate research questions, study design, and findings
- Review and critically evaluate existing literature and/or analytical approaches
- Critique and edit the final MHS project
