Interprofessional practice is when individuals from different professional backgrounds work together to build partnerships in population health. Are you interested in learning more about working effectively as a team?
Provides the opportunity to participate in a case study highlighting the essential role of teams and teamwork in building multi-sector collaborations and partnerships in population health.
Learning Objectives
Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
- Recognizes the responsibilities of different team members in the components of a public health intervention and encourages ideas and opinions of other team members.
- Evaluates team’s members contributions in shared patient-centered or population-focused problem-solving.
- Describes the key decisions required in problem-solving, while respecting individual and community values and priorities/preferences.
- Reflects on performance improvement for both individuals and teams.
