Description
Reviews the methods of translational research. Emphasizes developing skills in the interpretation and application of reports of findings of translational research. Includes topics such as hypotheses and study design, types of data, statistical analyses, and evidence synthesis methods.
Learning Objectives
Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
  1. Identify the underlying study design in a clinical/translational study
  2. Assess the appropriateness of the methods
  3. Apply the findings of clinical/translational research
