HCHDS National Steering Committee
The HCHDS National Steering Committee is responsible for carrying out periodic reviews of the Center’s activities and making recommendations for future initiatives and activities. The NSC will meet once a-year in-person. During this meeting, steering committee members will hear and respond to reports on the activities on the HCHDS leadership and research projects. We will seek your counsel on how to improve the research and pilot grant projects. The NSC will help us ensure our projects are responsive to the needs and concerns of minority communities and the nation, and help us promulgate and translate our research findings to public policymakers, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations and health care organizations that can best implement them.
