HOPE Challenge: Heart of the Matter Recap
In observance of American Heart Month, HPM’s Hopkins Center for Health Disparities Solutions (HCHDS) hosted discussions with leading policy and medical experts about equity in cardiovascular health and how to advance policies that can positively change the health destinies of marginalized communities in the U.S. today and for generations to come. As part of the HOPE (Health Opportunities for Policy Equity) Challenge, a collaborative initiative designed to leverage federal policy solutions to close racial and ethnic health disparities and a recipient of the inaugural Johns Hopkins University Nexus Awards.
The forum took place on February 6, 2024, at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Center at 555 Pennsylvania Ave. NW in Washington D.C.
