Teaching Excellence at the Bloomberg School

Excellence at the Bloomberg School begins with committed, outstanding teachers. In recognition of their success in the classroom, the School would like to thank and honor faculty who have impressive accomplishments in teaching. In the second term of the 2008–09 academic year, based on students’ course evaluations, 17 faculty members were identified as exceptional teachers in 14 courses.

The criteria for identifying excellent teaching by use of the students’ evaluations are: a rating of excellent, by at least 75 percent of the students in the categories of “Overall Course” and “Overall Instructor.” In the second term, 123 courses were evaluated by students.
