The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health has renewed its cooperative agreement with the Spanish Ministry of Health. As they have for the past 14 years, Johns Hopkins faculty members will continue to teach and conduct research with the Spanish colleagues and advise the Ministry of Health. In turn, Spanish scholars participate in School’s summer and winter institute programs.
Dr. Alfred Sommer, dean of the School of Public Health, signed the agreement on Friday, February 27, during a visit with Dr. Nelly Garcia Lopez, dean of the National School of Public Health of Spain and vice-president of the Teaching and Research Division of the Spanish Ministry of Health. --Tim Parsons
